I always stay at this wonderful retreat in Matlock because it has everything I need and more. They even helped me find something important once. I can't wait to come back for another trip! Wi-Fi, car park, kettle, cookware, hiking, cycling. No pets or smoking.

Amazing views over the Derbyshire dales. Long steep hill to the town center, but worth it. Helpful neighbor and plenty of information about the area. Lovely and quiet terrace cottage with good internet access. Local pub, The Duke Of Wellington, serves great food.

The view from the property was stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. the location was convenient for exploring the nearby attractions of Derbyshire. the kitchen was well equipped, allowing us to prepare our own meals.
The furniture in the living room was uncomfortable and the cleanliness of the property was subpar, with dirty kitchen items and an overall lack of care and attention. the shower was practically useless and the refrigerator was unstable and posed a safety hazard.

We stayed at Tring-On-Tor for a few days and the views over the Derbyshire dales were incredible. It was worth the steep hill climb to get there, and the car made it easy to get to the town center. Ellie, our neighbor, was a friendly and helpful source of information about the area and local dining options. The location was quiet and afforded us a peaceful stay, and the cottage itself was tidy, warm, and had good internet access. The nearby pub, The Duke Of Wellington, was welcoming and served delicious food.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The morning meal could be improved with a wider variety of options.
